Kristie Thompson

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Kristie earned her undergraduate degree in Economics from George Mason University before graduating from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she specialized with a certificate in Family Law.

During her legal education, Kristie gained extensive hands-on experience through internships and externships with both the Richmond City Attorney’s Office and the Virginia Office of the Children’s Ombudsman. She also advocated for youth as a student attorney in the University of Richmond’s Children’s Defense Clinic and contributed to legal scholarship as a staff member for the Richmond Public Interest Law Review.

After completing law school, Kristie expanded her expertise in domestic relations by serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Arlene Minus Coppadge in the Delaware Family Court.

When she isn’t practicing law, Kristie is an avid reader and baker who loves spending quality time with Weather, her rescue Jack Russell terrier.
